La Costa dei Trabocchi | The Costa dei Trabocchi

La Costa dei Trabocchi è uno dei tratti più suggestivi del Mare Adriatico, famosa per le sue antiche macchine da pesca chiamate “trabocchi”, storiche strutture in legno costruite direttamente sul mare e simbolo autentico della tradizione marinara abruzzese.

Nati secoli fa per permettere ai pescatori di pescare senza uscire in barca, oggi i trabocchi rappresentano una delle esperienze più iconiche dell’Abruzzo e ospitano alcuni dei ristoranti sul mare più affascinanti d’Italia.

La costa è attraversata dalla Via Verde, una lunga pista ciclopedonale panoramica che regala scorci mozzafiato tra mare cristallino, baie, trabocchi, tramonti e piccoli borghi marinari.

The Costa dei Trabocchi is one of the most beautiful stretches of the Adriatic coast, famous for its ancient wooden fishing platforms called “trabocchi”, authentic symbols of Abruzzo’s maritime tradition.

Originally built centuries ago to allow fishermen to fish without going out by boat, trabocchi are now one of the most iconic experiences in Abruzzo and host some of the most charming seaside restaurants in Italy.

The coastline is crossed by the Via Verde, a scenic cycling and walking path offering breathtaking views over crystal-clear waters, hidden coves, trabocchi and seaside villages.

Via Verde | The Via Verde

La Via Verde è una lunga pista ciclopedonale sul mare perfetta per passeggiate panoramiche, corsa, bici ed e-bike.

Il tratto più suggestivo è quello che parte da Fossacesia Marina verso nord, sempre affacciato sul mare e sui trabocchi.
